1.3.2 update
Version 1.3.2 includes a lot of subtle changes - modifying some entity behavior, change some physics interactions, tidying up some functionality under the hood, and a few more obvious changes - the most noticeable ones being the inclusion of new weapon types and associated attack variations; the bow and spear, as well as minor weather events, and most importantly the improvement of the entities in the game. Now, the complex entities are more dynamic and reactive, they will seek food sources, prey will flee from predators, and predators will chase and hunt prey. A bit more life was added to some entities with animated 3d models, though more work needs to be done to improve them (like the moonwalking rat situation), and making sure they properly die when killed.
A modification i'm particularly interested in seeing expand is the projectile system and charge attack system associated with the bow. This is a flexible system that may be used for other projectile or charged up mechanics later on!
As a byproduct of adding more "polish" to the game, it starts to compound how jank everything still kind of is. Weapons not being held correctly, awkward t-posing when a suitable animation isn't available, the cooking minigames having awkward presentations and load times, these all seem much more apparent when contrasted against what they might lead to you expect, so i'll probably make an effort to focus on making things more coherent between main feature implementations.
